About us

Founded by husband and wife team Bev and Andy in 2004, we are an independent childrenswear and gift shop dedicated to give you the very best of service and a fantastic shopping experience.

Based in East Sussex, we are proud to have been the top independently rated childrenswear and gift shop in the UK according to Trustpilot. We know that there are a lot of online businesses that you could shop with. We are honoured when you choose to shop with us, and we'll deliver exceptional personal service to you each and every time, guaranteed.

Our carefully selected brands, mainly from the UK and Scandinavia, are renowned for their uncompromising attention to detail and quality. When we opened our doors in 2004 the collections ranged from newborn to age 5. As our children and those of our customers have grown we have crept up to age 15. Many of our designs are fairtrade, organic and/or manufactured to Oeketex 100 Standard. There are two characteristic shared by all the brands we carry: exceptional attention to detail and top quality.

Over the past 2 years we have added a wide range of beautiful gifts to our shop, for children and adults.

If you live locally, we can have your order ready to collect within 2 hours Monday to Friday, and often weekends too by prior arrangement.

Located in Horam, East Sussex, we are 25 minutes drive from the sea in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We pack and despatch your orders from here.

We pride ourselves on going above and beyond the service you would usually expect. We're sure you will find everything you need on this website but if you need something extra or you're unsure of anything then please give us a call - if we can do it for you, we will!

We are proud to occupy the shop in Horam High Street. Businesses have resided in this building since the turn of the century when it was built, starting with Grocers William Delves & Sons Ltd in the days when the village was known as Horeham Road.

In this postcard you can see the house and shop newly constructed. 'Delves' as it was known is the shop with the horse-drawn cart, a bicycle and two children standing outside.
